The Halloween Weekend started with Chase's pre-school parade.

Chase is getting better at holding still during his hair cuts but sometime a funny face helps as he shows off for the camera.

Pumpkin Patch and High Adventure

We stopped by the crazy corn maze here in West Jordan and picked out some nice pumpkins the other night.

We didn't try out the maze as it was at dusk by the time our selections were complete and they were switching over to the haunted part. Macady insisted on the climbing wall that was also on site and made it to the top twice. She is quite the climber and does well!

Leader of the Pack

For being a Leader of Good Habits at Copper Canyon Elementary School. Macady was selected by her teacher Mr. Marsden who said, " Macady has great habits of following directions and obeying the rules. She always listens. She works hard and completes quality work. Macady is helpful to other students. She is a valuable leader in our class." The school had a special assembly to pass out the awards to all the selected students and all the kids parents were invited. The Principle read the above statement when the certificate was presented and they took a picture to put up in the hall for all to see.

Congratulations to Macady who was excited and also receved a coyote bracklet to show that she is a leader of the pack.

The leaves are starting to turn. Did a little bit of hiking with the kids. Found several furry friends. Enjoyed the loop around Timp and the kids got to play at a park on the way down.

Too many bubbles!

Macady continued to add soap to have a bubble bath. When the jets were turned on with air the fun began. The bubbles sat in the tub all night until they all disappeared.

Moving Day!

If it all works out we should get the keys on Friday and the big moving day will be on Saturday the 30th. Anyone who can make it that morning to help is welcome.

In the area of our new house and the kids had to stop and play at the park. Enjoyed a beautiful sunset and the double rainbows.

She just finished Geri's swim school this week. Swimming across the full length of the pool and crossing the deep. Still needs to work on the belly flop dives, a true fish.

Whe have a robins nest in our back tree and the kids are getting a great view from the swing set. But Macady wanted to know what's in the nest that the mother bird is sitting on. So when mother bird was away I pulled out the ladder and snapped a shot to discover...

2nd Bathroom

It is done! Now what am I going to do until 3am each night?

From boards to bathroom in 2 weeks.

Things have been busy, DIY project to complete the bathroom in the basement, a few more things with plumming and the ceiling and it will be done.

He ate a hotdog, some chips, and drank a juice box and them he did this - fell asleep at the table.

Moving on Up!

The past 9 years we have grown and expanded our family in a wonderful house. A lot of memories have been created and some extensive work has been done to make it our home. With all the growth we are running out of room and have decided to move.

We are starting the process of selling our home. The hardest part is that we have already found several places were we would like to move. Wish us luck in this buyers market. And if you know of anyone interested in buying a beautiful home send them our way.
